The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is a United Nations office which combats " illicit drugs and international crime". With increasing relevancy as the world globalises, the UNODC allows nations to co-operate in combating this threat human prosperity. This committee is often the scene of dynamic and engaging topics and debate.

One of the founding Councils of the United Nations, the UNSC has been the scene of many superpower rivalries throughout the last decades. Furthermore, with the added dynamic of the veto power this council is a forum of intense geopolitical debate. Nevertheless, it can also facilitate unprecedented co-operation and global uniformity in combating some of the world's gravest security threats and strengthening human rights and dignity.
